BD Army Chief discusses regional security issue with Indonesian counterpart

Chief of the Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed, who is now visiting Indonesia, paid a courtesy call on the Indonesian Army Chief General Andika Perkasa on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they exchanged greetings and discussed various aspects of the development of bilateral cooperation and future plans between the Bangladesh Army and the Indonesian Army.
General Aziz Ahmed also discussed on bi-leteral reagional security and several assistance with General Andika Perkasa, said a release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Later, the army chief visited the Indonesian Armed Forces Headquarters. During the visit, he paid a courtesy call on the commander of Indonesia Armed Forces Air Chief Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto.
General Aziz Ahmed also visited several military and civil establishments there. Earlier, when the Bangladesh Army chief reached Indonesia’s Army Headquarters, he was given a guard of honor by a smart contingent of armed guards from the Indonesian army.
After a four-day official tour, he will return home today (August 23).
