The government appointed Md. Faruk Ahmed as the Chairman of Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) effective from 29 September.
Prior to his joining to the post, he successfully done his job different position and many of govt. Department, like BIWTC, Bangladesh Bridge Division, LGED, Dhaka city Corporation etc.
Md. Faruk Ahmed born in 1961, Goshairhat, Shariatpur. He join the first Job as a Asstt. Commissioner in 1988,
He visited so many countries like USA, UK, France, Belgium, Holland, China, Malaysia etc. according to govt. assignment.
He is an Active person for many social organizations.
