A 10-member delegation of BCS General Education Association (BCSGEA) on Tuesday called on Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid at his Secretariat office.
The delegation led by acting BCSGEA President Professor Aliullah M Ajmotgir and Secretary General M Shahedul Khabir Chowdhury urged the involvement of the minister to realize their pending demands.
They demanded promotions following seniority of the teachers, creation of new posts and stop all kinds of discrimination at the educational institutions.
The minister assured them to meet their demands gradually.
