BCL workers asked to remain alert against conspiracy

Netrakona Correspondent :The deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy MP called upon the workers and leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) to forge greater unity among them by rising them above their “self-interest” and work with utmost sincerity, honesty and devotion following the sacrificing tendency and idealism of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman for building the organization as a “service oriented and idealist platform” for good and meritorious students. The deputy minister Joy also urged upon the BCL activists to remain alert and keep their mind-set ready for making any sacrifice to build up strong resistance against all sorts of terrorism, militancy, subversive activities and conspiracies of the anti-liberation forces. He was addressing as chief guest at a workers rally of BCL Netrakona district unit at local public hall here today. Chaired by president of the BCL Netrakona district unit Faisal Ahmed Rony, the rally was addressed, among others, by public prosecutor of the district and general secretary of Awami League Netrakona sader upazila unit Advocate Golam Mohammad Khan Pathan Bimol and general secretary of the BCL Netrakona district unit Kurshed Alam.  Referring to the matters relating to forthcoming conference of the BCL Netrakona district unit, the deputy minister Joy suggested the Chatra League workers for electing good and brilliant students as their leaders to uphold the image and dignity of the organization.
