A fraction Chittagong University Chhatra League brought out on Wednesday a protest procession in campus demanding immediate release of the former assistant proctor Anwar Hossenm Chowdhury, whom A Chittagong court on Monday passed an order to send to jail after he surrendered before the court in the murder case of Bangladesh Chhatra League central leader Diaz Irfan Chowdhury. The protesters are known as the other accused men and their followers. One of the accused men of case and former CU BCL president Mohammed Amalgir Tipu led the protest procession. The procession was started in front of the university’s zero point and ended, parading whole main points of campus, at Bangabandhu chattar Senior Chhatra League leaders and most of the accused men including Mansur, Abu Torab Poros, Mohammed Arman were also present at the protest procession.
