UNB, Dhaka :
An activist of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), student wing of ruling Awami League, sustained bullet injuries in an alleged attack by Jubo League activists in the city’s Rampura area on Friday.
The injured was identified as Md Sohan Chowdhury, son of Rashed Chowdhury of
Mukkhi Mosjid Goli near BTV Bhaban in Rampura.
Hospital sources said, activists of the local unit of Jubo League, youth wing of ruling Awami League, swooped on Sohan at Mukkhi Mosjid Goli around 7:15 pm.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 8:00 pm.
They fired gunshots targeting Sohan and he sustained bullet injuries at his right rib, hospital sources said quoting Sohan.
