An activist of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of its Govt Azizul Haque College unit was killed in a factional clash on the college campus here on Thursday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Sabuj, 23, a master’s student of the college.
Inspector (Investigation) of Bogra Sadar Police Station Aslam Ali said two groups of BCL locked into a clash over establishing dominance on the campus.
During the clash, a group of BCL activists swooped on Sabuj and stabbed him with a sharp weapon around 2pm, leaving him dead on the spot. The body was sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
