The rival groups of ruling party student’s wing Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) locked in clashes at Chittagong College again on Saturday. mThe rival groups hit on the heads of three of their own activists at Chittagong College in the morning in a clash to establish supremacy on the campus.
The activists who were critically injured are identified as Mobasher, Helal and Mamun. Mobasher studies economics department while Helal and Mamun are the students of Islamic history. mSources said, Nurul Mostafa Tinu who is known as BCL cadre and was a rickshaw-puller occupied the oldest colleges of the country Chittagong College and Haji Muhammad Mohshin College by his outsider cadres under the banner of BCL.
But, Nurul Mostafa Tinu who is around 45 years old and still controlling some cadres under the banner of BCL and associate of Minister Nurul Islam BSc also involved with attacking on the general students of the two colleges and collected toll from the shops and establishments at Chwakbazar area in the port city.
Earlier, rival factions of BCL locked in clashes and gun fights at Chittagong College more than 20 times last months over establishing supremacy at Chittagong College and Haji Muhammad Mohsin College. At last, on July 31, the rival factions of BCL locked in clashes and gun fights. A total of three activists of BCL were bullet injured in the gun fight while around 10 others injured in the clash. The three bullet injured were identified as Jibon, Bappi and Imam.
