A leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has been accused of harassing a female student after entering a female washroom of Dhaka University.
The incident took place in the student washroom of the Teacher-Student Center (TSC) of the university on Wednesday around 8:30 pm.
The accused is Tanzin Al Alamin, a student of Political Science Department of 2015-16 academic session and also a joint secretary of Cultural Affairs of BCL.
The victim has today lodged a written complaint with the University Proctor through E-mail regarding the incident.
The victim demanded strict punishment of the guilty person and his accomplices by monitoring the CCTV footage of the university administration.
“I entered for mistake. After understanding, I went out. Then I say sorry to them many times,” accused Tanzin Al Alamin said.
