UNB, Chuadanga :
A leader of Chuadanga Government College unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was injured in an attack by some miscreants at Jintala Mallikpara in the district town on Thursday.
The injured was identified as Shoyeb Rigan.
Quoting witnesses, Abu Jihad, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said 4/5 miscreants swooped on Rigan while he was returning home by a motorbike around 11:30 pm.
They stabbed Rigan indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.
Later, he was taken to Sadar hospital from where the doctors referred him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
However, the reason behind the attack could not be known immediately.
