Eden Mohila College unit BCL President Tamanna Jasmin Riva has sought apology after spreading an audio recording of threatening several students of a residential Hall to drive away from the Hall.
The Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) President sought the apology by posting a status in her verified Facebook on Friday night after attaching the recording on social media.
It is mentionable that Tamanna Jasmin Riva threatened the students recently in a residential Room No- 202 of Razia Begum Hostel of the college.
Riva wrote in her Facebook, “I have a good relationship with every activist of the Eden College unit BCL. They are nothing but my family members. I admit that I have been guilty of using intemperate language. BCL doesn’t teach me like that. So I seek apology to the organization.”
“Tamanna came to the room and threatened to throw them out because they did not go to the political program for a few days,” the students of the room said.
“If I don’t give a seat than who will give you a seat? Madams or Principal (Hall Administration) will give? Madams have power to give a seat?” Riva’s derogatory remarks come to light according to her audio recording.
At the one stage, Rive threatened the students, ” If you say more, I laid down one leg and tear the other leg. You are legal students! So, what happened!”
“Who have gave money for seat? Is there anybody give me money? Do not understand, you stay in a political room. If I don’t give a seat, who will give you a seat in room No 202?”
“Madam have the power to get a girl out of our room? Even the Principal of the College has no power to remove a girl from this room. There is no one above the President of BCL Eden College since the room is occupied by the President,” the president threatened the students.
