The 70th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), students’ wing of the ruling party Awami League, was observed on Thursday on Islamic University (IU) campus in Kushtia in a befitting manner.
On the occasion, IU unit Chhatra League brought out a colourful procession and cut a cake.
BCL President-Secretary Shahinur Rahman and Jewel Rana respectively, among others, took part in the procession.
Over 500 former and current leaders and activists took part in the procession.
It is mentionable that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman established Bangladesh Chhatra League on January 4, 1948.
