The Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football will begin on March 28 at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamala Stadium in city’s Kamalapur area.
The decision was taken in a Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) executive committee’s emergency meeting held on Tuesday at BFF board room with it’s president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin in the chair.
A total of fourteen clubs – NoFeL Sporting Club, Team Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation, Farashganj Sporting Club, T&T Club, Victoria Sorting Club, Agrani Bank Limited Sorts Club, Fakirerpool Younmen’s Club, Dhaka City FC, Wari Club, Karwan Bazar Pragati Sangha, Dhaka Wanderers Club, Swadhinata Krira Sangha, Forties Sports Academy Limited and Uttara Sporting Club – will take part in the league.
The interclub players’ transfer for the league will be held on February 10 to March 20 while after the league, one club will be promoted to Bangladesh Premier League and two clubs will be relegated.
