Bashundhara beat Police FC 1-0

Bashundhara Kings secured a 1-0 victory against Bangladesh Police Football Club in the Marcel Bangladesh Championship League football at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamlapur on Monday.
Kanchan scored the match winner in the 26th minute while Police FC failed to find the net in the remaining time of the match.
Meanwhile, Nofel Sporting Club and Victoria Sporting Club played out a goalless draw in the day’s another match at the same venue.

Defending champions Titas Club beat Bangladesh Police AC by straight 3-0 set in the lone inaugural match of the Dhaka Metropolis Premier Division, First Division and Second Division Volleyball League held on Monday at volleyball stadium in the city.
Advocate M Fazle Rabbi Miah, Deputy Speaker of the National Parliament, formally inaugurated the meet as chief guest.
Preyo Group Managing Director and Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) vice president Mainul Islam Biplob, BVF general secretary Ashikur Rahman Miku, BVF joint secretaries advocate Fazzle Rabbi Babul and M Azizur Rahman, tournament committee’s chairman Tabiur Rahman Palowan, premier division league secretary M Srirajul Islam, first and second division league secretary Kazi Abdul Hannan, tournament committee’s member Mostafa Kamal, were among others present on the occasion.
The BVF has organized the Dhaka Metropolis Premier Division Volleyball League in order to form a strong team for next March’s Bangabandhu Cup Volleyball Tournament in Dhaka.
