Two factions of Bangladesh Chhattra League (BCL), Bogra Azizul Haque College unit locked into clash and following by chase and counter -chase over love affairs on Tuesday noon.
College and witness sources said , a former girl friend of BCL activist Shabuj was seen talking with another student on the campus and later Shabuj forced the student to leave the campus with torture and broke the cell phone of his girl friend.
Following the matter, the girl student informed the matter to her cousin and another BCL activist Kamrul and later Kamrul with his associates chased Shabuj from the campus and meanwhile, the chase and counter -chase of the two BCL factions were held though police control the matter and at around 3 pm, BCL leaders solved the matter, added the source.
Benjir Ahmed, President of Azizul Hoque College Unit BCL said , two groups of out-side students locked into clash over chilly matter but he was sure whether they were BCL men or not. Inspector (Inquiry) of Sadar police station Aslam Ali said that after the incident of chase and re-chase, police rushed to the campus and controlled situation.
