One college student named Mahmudur Rahman Manna (25) died in factional clash of Chhatra League in city on Sunday night. The tragic incident occurred at Halishahar B-Block area in city .Manna is the student of 3rd year honours of Govt city college and son of one Mahfuzur Rahman. Local and police sources said centring the dominancy in the area, the internal clash of Chhatra League occurred and police rounded up one suspicious allegedly involved with the clash.
Sources also said centring the management of Ekhushey Club, clash broke out infront of Trade School in the area and chase , counter chase between two groups of the BCL factions with lethal weapons leave Mannua injured by sharf knife. He was immediately rushed to Chittagong medical college hospital where the attending physicians declared him dead. Body of the deceased sent to morgue for autopsy.
