Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists on Sunday once again attacked students spearheading the reform movement immediately after they held a demonstration at the Raju monument near TSC.
Quota leaders alleged BCL activists have kidnapped three students from different spots as the students were dispersing after the demonstration. But men denied the allegation. Quota leaders said they saw the abduction.
DU quota leaders said their demands are immediate release of arrested students and safety of general students in the campuses as they are spearheading the quota movement. Quota leaders said they would hold countrywide demo in all universities and colleges on Wednesday to press home their demands.
Students at Jahangirnagar University also held demonstration yesterday demanding the reform of quota system without delay. They left books and notes at the Shaheed Minar in the university campus to press home their demand.
