Leaders and activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) on Thursday were forced to sit on the floor of Madhu’s Canteen as Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men ‘occupied’ all the chairs and tables before their arrival.
JCD men alleged that the ruling party men intentionally occupied all the chairs and 10 tables so that they could not stay there and carry out their political activities. JCD General Secretary Iqbal Hossain Shyamal
came to the canteen around 11am along with over a hundred activists and sat on the floor failing to find any chair. Later, its President Fazlur Rahman Khokon together with some activists joined them.
