A business council meeting held on Thursday focused on ways of cooperation in trade and logistics in the sub-regions of Bangladesh, China, India and Myanmar (BCIM) under the Covid-19 epidemic situation.
Participants reviewed and summarised key tasks of BCIM in 2020 and discussed promotion projects of the council in 2021 in the virtual meeting.
BCIM Business Council Yunnan Office organised the meeting while China Chamber of International Commerce (CCIC), the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) hosted the event, said a press release.
Wu Meng, Deputy Director-General of Department of Cooperation and Development of CCIC, presided over the function.
