The executive committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has formed a five-member Election Commission which was responsible for conducting the Board of Directors Election-2017.
The election commission is headed by M Omar Faruk, ndc (Joint Secretary Sports, Ministry of Youth & Sports) who will be the Chief Election Commissioner while M Ekramul Hoque (Deputy Attorney General of Bangladesh Supreme Court), M Sukur Ali (Director Planning & Development, NSC), Barrister Fahimul Huq (Legal Advisor) and Nizam Uddin Chowdhury CEO of BCB will be taking the post of Election Commissioners, said a BCBpress release.
