The decision of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) about Shakib Al Hasan is final. Shakib Al Hasan has been banned for six months for all kind of cricket competitions. Besides, Shakib Al Hasan cannot take part in the international cricket tournaments like IPL, CPL, County Cricket Competition for one hand half years. The meeting of Board of Directors of BCB took that decision recently. Shakib Al Hasan went to London recently to take part in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). But Shakib left Dhaka to participate in the CPL without permission of BCB. Shakib did not collect No Objection Certificate (NOC) from BCB to play in a cricket competition outside of Bangladesh. Shakib Al Hasan sent an e-mail to coach Chandika Haturusinghe and acknowledged him that he will not play Test matches and ODI matches for Bangladesh. Later, BCB called Shakib Al Hasan to return home immediately. It was a rumor that if coach Chandika Haturusinghe arrives Dhaka, BCB will discuss with Haturusinghe about the punishment of Hasan.But Chairman of Cricket Operations Committee of BCB Akram Khan said to the journalists on Sunday, “The decision, which was taken by BCB about Shakib Al Hasan is final. There is no option to change the decision to discuss with Haturusinghe.”Meanwhile, Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BCB Nizam Uddin Chowdhury Sujan said, “Shakib can appeal to BCB to reduce his punishment.”Chairman of Media Committee of BCB Md Jalal Yunus said, ” If Haturusinghe wants, Shakib can take part in the practice session. Shakib will get his salary. Haturusinghe will take the final decision about Shakib Al Hasan’s practice with the players of national team.”
