Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will send Shohag Gazi to Malaysia to rectify his bowling action. Shohag Gazi will work under coach Salahuddin to correct his bowling action. Coach Salahuddin is now staying in Malaysia.
Chairman of Cricket Operations Committee of BCB Akram Khan confirmed this matter on Thursday.
Akram Khan said, ” Shohag Gazi is an important bowler for our Test cricket. We shall try to back him in cricket as soon as possible. Earlier, spinner Abdur Razzak worked under coach Salahuddin. He got cent percent success. So, we have decided to send Shohag to Malaysia.
It is mentionable that off-spinner Shohag Gazi has been banned by ICC from all sorts of cricket competitions for his illegal bowling action.
Akram Khan said, ” Shohag Gazi will stay Malaysia up to November 15. If he can correct his bowling action by this time, he will return home.”
