The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is aware of the incident of damaging the window of the Australia Cricket Team’s bus while returning to the hotel from the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong at the end of the first day play of the second Test match
on Monday, said a BCB press release on Tuesday.
The BCB has taken this matter very seriously and a high-power committee has been formed to investigate the incident.
The Board has been in constant communication with the Australian Cricket Team management. Security measures have been enhanced on the travelling route of the both teams.
The Australia Cricket Team has expressed its satisfaction at the security operation and has appreciated the response from the BCB and the local authorities following Monday’s incident.
