The Bangladesh Cricket Board will include new sensation Mustafizur Rahman in the central contract. A total of 14 cricketers were taken in the central contract of BCB in the year of 2015.
BCB will increase the list of the crickets of 2016 by including Mustafizur Rahman. A reliable source of BCB said to the newsmen, ” Some of the cricketers will be ousted from the new list and some new cricketers will be included in the list.”
The cricketers are included in five categories now. Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza are in A+ category, Mahmudullah Riyad is in A category, Rubel Hossain, Imrul Kayes, Nasir Hossain are in B category, Mominul Haque, Shafiul Islam, Anamul Haque are in C category, Taijul Islam, Al-Amin Hossain, Arafat Sunny are in D category.
Apart from Mustafizur Rahman, Sabbir Rahman may be included in the central contract of BCB.
Meanwhile, Cricket Operations Committee of BCB has proposed to BCB to increase the salary of the cricketers, who are included in the central contract of BCB. The salary may be increased 25% of their present salary.
The cricketers, who are included in the A+ category, are getting now Taka two lakh, the players, who are included in the A category, are getting now Taka one lakh and seventy thousand, the cricketers, who are included in the B category, are getting now Taka one lakh and twenty thousand, the players, who are included in the C category, are getting now Taka ninety thousand and the cricketers, who are included in the D category, are getting now Taka sixty thousand.
Besides, Mushfiqur Rahim, who is the Captain of Bangladesh Test team is getting more Taka twenty thousand, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, who is the Captain of Bangladesh ODI team is getting more Taka twenty thousand.
Shakib Al Hasan, who is the Vice-Captain of Bangladesh Test team is getting more Taka ten thousand and Tamim Iqbal, who is the Vice-Captain of Bangladesh ODI team is getting more Taka ten thousand.
