BCB to appoint psychologist for Young Tigers and Tigresses

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will appoint a psychologist for Young Tigers and Tigresses. The psychologist will act for the mental health of the cricketers of Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team and Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team. The cricketers are out of field and practice due to coronavirus outbreak in the country. So, the BCB will appoint a psychologist, who will work for the cricketers to keep their mental strength.
Physician of BCB Dr Debashis Chowdhury informed the newsmen that he already talked to expatriate psychologist Azhar Ali Khan. Azhar Ali Khan will suggest and give tips the cricketers by virtual classes.
Dabashis Chowdhury said, ” Chief Executive Officer of BCB Nizamuddin Chowdhury told me to advance for my mission.”
He said, ” If Azhar Ali Khan give permission we shall add the BCB staff, who are related to Young Tigers and Tigresses. It will take at least one weak to finalise about the details of the classes. I hope Azhar Ali Khan will start his class as soon as possible.”
He said, “I talked to Azhar Ali Khan, who worked in the past with us. I have explained our plan to him and he has also given his own plan. For the time being, Women’s team and Under-19 team is in our plan. If the plan is successful, we shall add the national team.”
Ali Azhar Khan firstly worked with Bangladesh team during 2014 and then the BCB again hired his service in 2018. On both occasions, players said his class benefited them.
