The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has issued a show-cause notice to wicketkeeper-battter Mushfiqur Rahim for breaching media protocol code of conduct. A top official of BCB confirmed the development to Cricbuzz adding that he will face a hearing on Friday evening (November 19).
“He will have to face a hearing as he has spoken against the selection panel,” a member of the selection panel said on request of anonymity.
Mushfiqur questioned his non-selection for the ongoing Pakistan T20I series recently, as he felt he was dropped instead of being ‘rested’ as was being projected by the board.
Bangladesh T20 skipper Mahmudullah insisted before the three-match series opener against Pakistan that he was unaware about the reason for the exclusion of the senior member of the team.
