BCB seeks new coach

President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hassan Papon said, “If we can not get foreign coach, we shall appoint local coach for replacement of Shane Jurgensen. I think the performance of Bangladesh team will not worse under a local coach than previous performance.”
Papon said, “After ICC World Twenty20 Cricket, there will be some changes in the team including team management.”
He said, ” Jurgensen has resigned from his post for the dismal performance of Bangladesh team in ICC World Twenty20 Cricket. But BCB did not give any hint to him that BCB would sack him.”
After ICC World Twenty20 Cricket Shane Jurgensen left Bangladesh and went to his own country Australia. Then Jurgensen submitted his resignation letter through e-mail.
After that Jurgensen returned Bangladesh and said, “I took decision to quit from my post after thinking about all the matters.”
Papon said, “In the next BCB Board meeting, we shall discuss about the matter. But it is sure that we are seeking a new coach.”
Director of BCB Jalal Younus said, “Though Jurgensen submitted his resignation letter but he wants to coach Bangladesh National Cricket team in the India series scheduled to be held in June.”
During this time BCB is interested to seek new coach for Bangladesh team.
Captain of Bangladesh Cricket team Mushfiqur Rahim said, “I shall try to convince him to withdraw his resignation letter.”
Mushfiqur said, “I shall discuss with BCB President about this matter.”
