The cricketers, coaching staff, managers and groundsmen all have tested negative for coronavirus. Thus, all the members related to the three-team tournament were accommodated at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city on Saturday.
The BCB President’s Cup begins today at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur. All the matches will be held at the SBNCS. Meanwhile, the Captains of the three teams jointly unveiled the BCB President’s Cup at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on Saturday.
A total of three teams will take part in the 50-over-a-side cricket competition. The first phase will be held on round robin league basis. Top two teams will get the tickets of the final. The final will be held on October 23.
Mahmudullah-XI will face Najmul-XI in the opening match today at 1.30pm. All the matches will be day/ night affairs.
