Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) ordered Shakib Al Hasan to return home immediately. Shakib is now staying London. Shakib is scheduled to take part in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The CPL begins on July 11 and will come to an end on August 16.
BCB summoned Shakib Al Hasan as he left the country to participate in the CPL without permission of BCB.
BCB will take decision about Shakib Al Hasan on July 7.
Bangladesh Cricket team will tour West Indies to play two Test matches, three ODI matches and a Twenty20 International match against West Indies scheduled to be held in August-September.
To mark the upcoming West Indies tour, players of Bangladesh Cricket team are taking part in the training camp.
Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BCB Nizam Uddin Chowdhury Sujan said to a local website, ” BCB has ordered Shakib to join the training camp as soon as possible.”
It may be mentioned that Shakib Al Hasan left the city on July 2 to take part in the CPL.
