BCB North Zone score 210 for 3 on day 1 in BCL

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) North Zone on Saturday dominated the first day as they scored 210 for 3 against Prime Bank South Zone in the fifth round of Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) held at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet.
Batting first after winning the toss, BCB faced early batting jolt as they lost the wicket of Junayed.
However skipper Johurul Islam Omi and Farhad Hosain shared a 72-run for the second wicket stand to take the team to a comfortable position.
Farhad scored 43 runs off 116 balls with the help of six boundaries before the partnership was broken by Sohag Gazi.
Johurul kept the scoreboard moving with his teammate Naeem Islam. He contributed 65 runs off 203 balls laced with four boundaries.
Naeem Islam and Nasir Hossain were on the crease with 54 and 35 runs as the bails were drawn for the day.
Ziaur Rahman, Abdur Razzak and Sohag Gazi shared one wicket each for Prime Bank.
