BCB HP team without Mosaddek leaves for England

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) High Performance Squad, without national coloured Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, left the capital for England Tuesday morning to play the eight-match one-day series against the different English counties.Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, who was dropped from the home Test series against Australia in the last moment due to eye injury, did not accompany the England bound HP team as he is now preparing himself for a surgery in Thailand.
Promising all rounder Nazmul Hossain Shanto will lead the team in the UK as the captain while leg-spinner Tanvir Haider will assist Shanto as his deputy where Zakir Hasan, Syed Khalid Hossain, Shuvashis Roy and Mehedi Hasan were included for the first time.
Top-order batsman Shadman Islam, Al Amin Jr and Imran Ali Emon, who were standby in the last tour, have been placed in the main squad this time.
Bangladesh team will travel to Nottingham first after reaching in the UK to play first two matches there against Nottinghamshire CCC 2nd XI/Academy at the Lady Bay Cricket Ground in West Bridgford on September 7 and 8 respectively.
After a recess for one day, the team will travel to Birmingham from Nottingham to play three matches against three different County Clubs Teams. Of them, they will play Northants CCC 2nd XI/Academy at Brixworth Cricket Club ground, Birmingham on September 10.
Therefore, the BCB HP team will play against Lancashire CCC 2nd XI and Warwickshire CCC 2nd XI on September 11 and 12 respectively, but the venues have not been fixed yet.
With another rest day the visitors will play other two matches against Worcestershire CCC 2nd XI/Academy and Warwickshire CCC 2nd XI on September 14 and 15. They will play the first match at the Wolverhampton Cricket Club Ground.
Before returning home from the UK on September 18, the visitors will face off MCC YC XI on September 17.
