Bangladesh Cricket Board High Performance (BCB HP) team earned 5-0 series victory against Northern Territory Invitational Eleven (NT XI) after a huge 151-run win in the last one-day match at Marrara Cricket Ground-1 in Darwin, Australia on Tuesday.
Batting first after winning the toss, BCB HP side scored 269 for all in 49.3 overs where opener Anamul Haque hit a half century of 53 runs.
Irfan Shukkur and Tasamul Haque stayed for 46 runs each while Imtiaz Hossain added 39. Abu Haider Rony fired four over boundaries off 21 balls to score 35 runs.
Doyle captured three wickets for 45 runs while Mckell bagged two for 27 runs for the host side.
Chasing a target of 270 runs, NT XI were all out for 118 in 30.4 overs with Jarrod Freeman top-scoring 29 runs.
Saif Uddin and Abul Hasan captured three wickets each conceding 13 and 26 runs respectively while Abu Jayed bagged two wickets for 15 runs for the visiting side.
BCB HP side will play a three-day match also against the local selection at the same venue starting on Thursday (July 13).
Earlier, BCB HP team defeated NT XI by one wicket in the first match, then beat them by 70 runs in the 2nd match before secured a 42-run victory in the 3rd match to seal the series. In the 4th encounter BCB HP team crushed NT XI by nine wickets.
