The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) official indicated that the upcoming election of Bangladesh Cricket Board might have to reschedule due to Covid situation.BCB already postponed their Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for July 7 for an indefinite period due to the growing coronavirus threat and following a nationwide lockdown.BCB’s media committee chairman Jalal Yunus said the board will fix the new date for AGM depending on the improvement of the current pandemic scenario while he added that everything has become uncertain in the present context. “It’s too early to comment (regarding the elections taking place in scheduled time) but everything depends on the Covid-19 situation because we don’t have any other obstacle (to hold the election in due time) apart from it. So we are all looking forward to a better situation,” said Jalal on Saturday.
