Rebecca Mohiuddin, wife of former MP Mohiuddin Ahmed and mother of BCB Director Ahmed Sajjadul Alam Bobby, passed away at a city hospital on Monday due to old-age complications. She was 78.
Rebecca breathed her last at Apollo Hospitals Dhaka in the morning, said family sources.
She left behind two sons and one daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan and its directors and staff members expressed their deep sorrow at the death of Rebecca Mohiuddin.
They prayed for salvation of the departed soul and expressed their sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) and Bangladesh Sports Journalists Community (BSJC) also condoled her death.
