The Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hassan Papon on Wednesday had an impromptu meeting with Mashrafee Mortaza and Tamim Iqbal at the home of cricket.
The arrival of the duo in the president box raised quite a few eyebrows though none were ready to disclose anything about the meeting.
It was learnt that Mashrafee was called by the BCB President while Tamim, who was ruled out from the series due to his thumb injury, went to the venue to watch the last day’s play.
Mashrafee, who is eyeing to take part in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League, along with Tamim is said to have given their observation regarding the team.
Meanwhile, the BCB Chief Executive Officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury sat with team leader Khaled Mahmud and head coach Russell Domingo after the game.
Team Manager Nafees Iqbal also accompanied the duo in the meeting where they discussed different rules and regulations that will be in place during the New Zealand tour.
