The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Tuesday Bangladesh National Women’s squad for the tour of South Africa (SA). The Bangladesh Women’s squad will play five ODIs and three T20 internationals during the tour. The team will leave for South Africa on April 28.
The players, who have been chosen, are: Rumana Ahmed (Captain for ODI series). Salma Khatun (Captain for T20I Series), Nigar Sultana Joty, Fargana Hoque Pinky, Khadiza-Tul Kubra, Fahima Khatun, Jannatul Ferdous Sumona, Shamima Sultana, Nahida Akter, Panna Ghosh, Suraya Azmim, Sanjida Islam, Sharmin Sultana, Sobhana Mostary,
Murshida Khatun and Jahanara Alam.
Bangladesh Women’s XI will play a warm-up match against a selected XI of South Africa at Witrand Oval in Potchefstroom on May 2.
Bangladesh will take on South Africa in the first ODI at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom on May 4. Bangladesh will face South Africa in the second ODI at the same venue on May 6. Bangladesh will meet South Africa in the third ODI at Diamond Oval in Kimberley on May 9. Bangladesh will play against South Africa in the fourth ODI at the same venue on May 11. Bangladesh will take on South Africa in the fifth ODI at Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein on May 14.
Bangladesh will face South Africa in the first Twenty20 International match at Diamond Oval in Kimberley on May 17.
Bangladesh will take on South Africa in the second Twenty20 International match at Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein on May 19.
Bangladesh will meet South Africa in the third Twenty20 International match at the same venue on May 20.
Bangladesh team will depart South Africa on May 21.
