BCB announces Bangladesh preliminary squad for England series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Thursday the Bangladesh preliminary squad for upcoming series against England. The selected players will report to National Team Strength & Conditioning Coach Mario Villavarayen on July 20 at 8.15 am at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
The players, who have been chosen, are: Tamim Iqbal, Shuvagata Hom, Soumya Sarker, Shabbir Rahman, Imrul Kayes, Arafat Sunny, Liton Kumar Das, Taijul Islam, Anamul Hoque Bijoy, Shohrawordi Shuvo, Mosaddek Hossain, Zubaer Hossain, Md Mithun,
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza,Shahriar Nafees, Muktar Ali, Rokibul Hasan, Kamrul Islam Rabbi, Mominul Hoque, Mustafizur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan, Al-Amin Hossain, Mahmudullah Riyad, Shafiul Islam, Nasir Hossain, Md Shahid, Mushfiqur Rahim,
Taskin Ahmed, Nurul Hasan, Rubel Hossain.
England Cricket team will arrive in the city on September 30 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches and two Test matches against their counterpart Bangladesh Cricket team.
Bangladesh will play first ODI match against England at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur on October 7, face England in the second ODI at the same venue on October 9, meet England in the third ODI at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) in Chittagong on October 12.
A selected XI of Bangladesh will play a practice one-dayer against England at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on October 4.
Bangladesh will face England in the first Test, which begins on October 20 at the ZACS in Chittagong.
Then Bangladesh will meet England in the second Test, which starts on October 28 at the SBNCS in Mirpur.
Besides, a selected XI of Bangladesh will play two two-day warm-up matches against England at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong. The first two-day warm-up match will be held on 14-15 October while the second two-day warm-up match will be taken place on 16-17 October.
