Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Monday the 14-member Bangladesh Test squad for the upcoming two-Test series against Sri Lanka team.
Opener Shamsur Rahman has been called in the 14-member team.
Besides, opener Imrul Kayes has been included in the Test squad.
Anamul Haque and Naeem Islam have been dropped from the team.
The players, who have been selected, are: Mushfiqur Rahim (Captain), Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Shamsur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, Nasir Hossain, Abdur Razzak, Marshall Ayub, Mominul Haque, Shohag Gazi, Al-Amin Hossain, Rabiul Islam and Rubel Hossain.
Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka in the first Test, which begins on January 27 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Bangladesh will meet Sri Lanka in the second Test, which starts on February 4 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, the port city of the country.
