Cricketers return to coaching camp: BCB agrees with cricketers’ demand

The cricketers have returned to the stadium after BCB has accepted all their demands on Wednesday night.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) agreed with the demands of the cricketers, who had been going on strike since Monday last. The cricketers went to the BCB’s office in the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur on Wednesday night and BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon assured them that they will fulfill their demands. After that the cricketers called off their strike and agreed to play in the NCL and take part in the upcoming coaching camp from today for India series.
It may be mentioned that the cricketers including Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad had been going on strike since Monday last for their 11-point demand. Later, they included two demands on Wednesday.
BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon spoke at a press conference at the Press Conference Room in the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur on Tuesday last. BCB boss did not agree
with the cricketers’ demand after the cricketers had announced their 11-point demand and went on strike.
Later, BCB boss and Director Naimur Rahman Durjoy went to Ganabhaban to discuss with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina about the problem.
After the discussion, Naimur Rahman said to the journalists, ” We are prepared to fulfill their demands.”
