International Cricket Council (ICC) is very sensitive about racism. ICC has strong law to resist racism. Match Referee BC Board gave threat to stop the Chittagong Test on the issue of racism.
South Africa team complained to BC Board that on the second day (Wednesday) of the first Test between Bangladesh and South Africa, some spectators showed harmful activities against the players of South Africa. BC Board said he would stop the first Test if he get that kind of complain again.
Venue Manager Fazle Bari told to a Bengali Daily, “The spectators of Chittagong are well-behaved. But there are a few spectators, who showed ill manner to Dale Steyn before starting the play of the second day of 1st Test.”
