A three-day business exposition of Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal (BBIN) Business Forum is scheduled to begin today (Friday) at Siliguri in India, a day after the launching of the business forum in Kolkata.
BBIN Business Forum is being launched in Kolkata to play a vital role in boosting trade and investment among the four countries.
Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) are jointly organising the exhibition. Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) will also take part in the expo.
A 70-member business delegation of FBCCI led by its president Abdul Matlub Ahmed left here for Kolkata on Thursday to attend BBIN business forum.
The team will also take part in a three-day business exposition of BBIN business forum.
FBCCI President Abdul Matlub Ahmed told journalists at a press conference on June 27 marking the expo and said “The businessmen of the four countries will exhibit their goods under the same roof.”
On the sidelines of the expo, different seminars will be held for enhancing the inter-trade of the region, he added.
