Bangladesh Bank has taken special measures to prevent the activities of currency-forgery syndicates ahead of Eid-ul-Azha and Durga Puja.
Steps have been taken for disseminating the information required to identify forged currencies by distributing CDs (Compact Disks) at different places, including airports, rail stations, launch and bus terminals, important public places, cinema hall and offices across the country.
