The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) under the control of Bangladesh Bank has summoned the bank accounts of eight people, including film actress Pori Moni.
Among the eight, others models are Faria Mahbub Piyasha and Marium Akhtar Mou, businesswoman Helena Jahangir and film producer Nazrul Islam Raj.
They have been asked to submit details of all relevant transactions of their bank accounts within five working days from the dath of receipt of the letter . All information regarding savings, loans and other relevant transaction details have to be submitted.
According to sources, several banks across the country have received the letter from Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) on Wednesday (August 11). The BFIU sent letter to the different banks mentioning the details in national identity card including the date of birth, name and address of the parents of the accused.
The letter also mentions the Pori Moni’s name ‘Shamsun Nahar Smriti’. Her address is Mirukhali village of Bagiratpur in Mathbaria upazila of Pirojpur.
