The officials of Bangladesh Bank , Chittagong zonal office launched sit-in programme on Monday protesting the discrimination in 8th national pay scale and undermining the pay scale status of BB officials.
The officials observed sit-inprogram inside the main gate of the BB on Monday. A press release was issued by the striking officials saying that a memorandum was sent to Prime Minister on December 23 last tofulfill their demands and three charter of demands submitted through Officers Welfare council.
