Staff Reporter :Bangladesh Bank (BB) on Tuesday sent a letter to Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) requesting it to complete its investigation on non-funded portion of Hall-Mark Group loan scandal, sources in BB said. Hall-Mark Group embezzled Tk 3,547 crore from Sonali Bank’s Ruposhi Bangla Branch between 2010 and 2012. Of the sum, over Tk 1,709 crore was non-funded loan.ACC filed cases and submitted charge sheet for the funded portion of the scam, but it is yet to file case on the non-funded part of the loan. The letter signed by BB Governor requested ACC Chairman to complete the investigation on non-funded portion of the scam soon and file case against the accused.
