Bangladesh Bank (BB) has asked the clients of mobile banking services not to deposit more than Tk 300,000 in their personal accounts with effect from January next.
The decision has been taken to stop abuse of mobile financial services (MFS).
The customers, having more than Tk 300,000 in their MFS account, will have to bring the balance below the aforesaid limit by December 31 next, said a BB circular issued on Monday.
