Candidates for CCTV operator and technician have been waiting for a long period to get appointment in Bangladesh Bank. The central bank administration is yet to take step in this regard although the candidates are living in inhuman states due to their unemployment conditions.
“We have passed the written examination for the posts of CCTV Operator and Technician held on October 16 last year. Then we have attended the viva on the 4th January to the 7th this year. But the result and appointment is yet to be issued.
We are living with serious embarrassment due to our unemployed condition,” one of the candidates said it preferring anonymity on Tuesday.
Sources said, 53 candidates passed the written examination out of more than one lakh.. All of those 53 candidates are waiting for the 26 operator and three technician posts.
The candidates submitted applications to the governor of the central bank urging to publish their results and to issue appointment letters..
They have requested the authority to complete the appointment process and save their lives from more sufferings and frustrations. The circular for appointment in those two posts were published on October 6 in 2019 while the written tests took place on October 16, 2020 after one year of publishing the circulars.
The candidates said while job appointment circulars are mostly stopped in this situation they have no way to be appointed in any job.”Most of our families are in vulnerable conditions due to our unemployed state. The families are now considering us as a burden. The people of the society are ridiculing us as we cannot earn a penny,” said one of them.
He said that many of their age have crossed 30 years, so they have not enough chance to get a government job.
