Bayern Munich Youngster Alphonso Davies was voted 2019-2020 Bundesliga Rookie of the Year on Friday. Davies, 19, won the prize by beating out Dortmund’s Erling Braut Haaland, who was elected Rookie of the Month twice since January and has scored 11 goals in nine games. The award is based on combined voting from fans, media and clubs. The left-back player was capped 28 times for Bayern Munich, which recently won its eighth straight league title on Tuesday, in 2019-2020 season.
