Two faculty members of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) has got a place in the list of the world’s best researchers. Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Associate Professor, Dept of Chemistry and Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Lecturer of EEE Department. Among the 1,798 people from Bangladesh Md. Saiful Islam is the 1st in Chemical Science and 18th in Natural Science and Md. Mahmudul Hasan is the 111th among Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He has 59 Google Scholar Cites and H Index Score-4.
Two teachers of BAUET were included in the recently published Elper Dogger Scientific Index-2021. Vice Chancellor of the University Brigadier General Md. Mostafa Kamal Congratulated both of them for awarded a place in the list of the world’s best researchers.
Md. Saiful Islam expressing his feelings such as “I am very happy to see my name in the list of the world’s best researchers. This is a great achievement and honor not only for me, but also for my university. This is the result of my long twenty years of teaching and researches. He hoped that the university would continue its cooperation with the research sector to increase the budget allocation to further encourage and expand the research sector.”
Md. Mahmudul Hasan completed his BSc Engineering in EEE from KUET and his Masters Degree from Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He is currently working as a PhD researcher at the University of New South Wales (World Ranking-43) in Australia. He said, ‘This world ranking will serve as a source of inspiration for young teachers in research work. He added, “Young teachers need to be interested in teaching as well as research and publishing scientific articles to take BAUET’s position at the top of the world rankings.”
