The annual sports competition of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) was held on the university premises here on Friday.
BAUET Vice Chancellor Brigadier General AHM Shahidullah (Retd) attended as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners, said a press release.
AHM Shahidullah said, “Sports is essential for health and good health is essential for mind. So, there is no alternative of sports and physical exercises to develop talent as well as study.”
He hopes that the students are aware in this regard.
A total of 16 events including football, volleyball, handball, 100-meter race, chess, computer game, Dart throw, pillow transfer and musical chair were held in the competition.
